MINT HILL, NC – The aroma of coffee is one of my favorite smells. Walking into Mint Hill Roasting Company, the scent is intoxicating. Mint Hill Roasting Company roasts their own coffee on-site making it one of the freshest coffee spots in town. This culinary gem is ideally located on Hwy 51 next to the Mint Hill Police Department and across from Mint Hill Pharmacy.

I visited Mint Hill Roasting Company this past week to sample their fall menu, and I was not disappointed! The barista warmly greeted me and made some excellent recommendations. The fall menu consists of pumpkin white mocha, maple cinnamon macchiato, Nutella mocha, pumpkin spice latte, snickerdoodle frappe, orange spice or toasted almond hot tea latte, and caramel apple refresher. There is something on the menu for all taste buds and any weather condition! I ended up ordering the maple cinnamon macchiato, which was one of the barista’s recommendations. It was a delicious blend of fall spices at just the right temperature to enjoy my first sip immediately. Since it was a beautiful day, I ventured to the front porch to watch the traffic. Not only do they have seating out front, Mint Hill Roasting Company has a couple cozy rooms indoors and a screened-in porch.
