MINT HILL, NC – Daphne’s Bakery is ideally located on Hwy 51 in the heart of Mint Hill. Daphne’s uses the freshest ingredients from obtaining their milk and eggs from local farms to sending bakery scraps to local farms for livestock feed to feeding the less fortunate by donating things left over on Saturdays to a local food pantry. Not only does Daphne’s use the freshest ingredients, the bakery mentors young people in the trade! As a local family owned business, they pour into the community, teaching others the culinary arts. Daphne’s cares about the Mint Hill community.

My experience:

I enjoy making a quick stop at Daphne’s for a midmorning or midafternoon treat. My favorite treat is the Wedding Cake Cupcake and the Girls Night Out brownie; however, this visit tried something new, the Cookie Dough brownie. The Cookie Dough brownie is a brown sugar brownie packed with chocolate chips and pecans. It tastes exactly like eating a chocolate chip cookie! Each bite has the perfect amount of chocolate chips and pecans. It was so rich that I had to eat it in two servings; twice the delight!

I also ordered the iced coffee. Every customer is able to order the coffee on the sweet or less sweet side. I love this simple option. I sipped my sweet creamy coffee while I drove back to my office. The delightful coffee had just the right amount of creamer and sugar. I will definitely be back for more delicious coffee.
