Independence Patriots

Basketball: (14-3 overall, 8-0 in Southwestern 4-A Conference) 



Raja Milton – Raja scored 14 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals against Myers Park.  Then he tallied 18 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks to lead the Patriots over Hickory Ridge.

Miles Pauldin – Miles contributed 10 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steals vs. the Mustang’s.  They he followed with another solid performance 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals against the Ragin’ Bulls.

Andra McKee – Andra added 14 big points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block against Hickory Ridge.

Honorable Mentions: Matt Smith contributed 6 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks vs. Myers Park.  The the big man then added 5 points and 8 rebounds against Hickory Ridge.  Tyler Harris had 10 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists vs. Hickory Ridge.  Anthony Allen added 7 points, played solid defense, and had a steal in the Myers Park win.

Girls Basketball: 

Braylyn Milton – The sophomore guard scored 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks against the Lady Mustang’s.

Grace Breckenridge – The center/forward contributed 5 points, 7 rebounds, and had 2 key blocks in the second half to keep the game close against Myers Park.

Queens Grant Stallions   

Basketball: (14-5 overall, 6-1 PAC 7 Conference) 

Jah’Quez Sanders – The smooth senior guard scored 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists against Bradford Preparatory to achieve a double-double for the Stallions.

Xavier Westbrook – The senior forward contributed 11 points and 9 rebounds in the victory over Bradford Prep.

Jeremiah Murphy – The junior forward stepped up his game this week scoring 13 points and 6 rebounds vs. Bradford Prep, then followed up with a 20 point performance, adding 11 rebounds and 2 blocks in the big win over Langtree Charter.

Rocky River Ravens

Basketball: 

Narique Smith –  The senior guard scored 15 points including hitting three 3 pointers for the Ravens in the loss to Butler.

Tim Smith –  The forward may have had his best game of the season scoring 13 points, while grabbing 8 rebounds against the Bulldogs on Friday night.

Girls Basketball:  (15-2 Overall, 6-2 in Southwestern 4-A Conference) 

Andresia Alexander – The Lady Ravens all-time scoring leader added another 16 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in the big win over the Butler Bulldogs.

Delayzha Dixon – The junior led the Lady Ravens scoring 19 points, while adding 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals in the upset win over Butler.

Mishya Scott – Mishya contributed 17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals in the victory.

Erial Chambers – The 6’2″ junior center contributed 5 points, and hauled down 9 huge rebounds for the lady Ravens.
