Independence Patriots

Basketball: 



Matt Smith – The senior power forward heading to Murray State had another double-double added to his collection scoring 16 points and hauling down 10 rebounds in the rivalry game with Butler.  He had a steal and blocked shot in the contest.

Andra McKee – The senior guard scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in the win over the Bulldogs.  He also added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the win on Friday night over Garinger in limited time.

Raja Milton – The quick guard contributed 8 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals against the Bulldogs on Tuesday.  In the Wildcat win he led all scorers with 12 points.

Tyler Harris – The forward had 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the Patriots huge win over the Bulldogs.

Amonti Burton – The senior forward had a nice game against the Wildcats scoring 10 points with 5 rebounds and 2 steals in the 70-29 win on Friday night.

Girls Basketball:

Sharonda Smith – The senior leader scored 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and had one steal in the loss to the Lady Bulldogs.

Ayanna Anderson – The junior contributed 10 points, 4 rebounds with one steal in the loss for the Patriots.

Queens Grant Stallions

Basketball: 

Jah’Quez Sanders – The consistent senior leader scored 13 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in the Stallions 67-45 win over Carolina International.

Jeremiah Murphy – The junior scored 11 points and hauled down 5 rebounds in the victory for the Stallions.

Ahmad McKnight: The 6’7″ senior forward had 5 points, however, dominate under the boards with 7 rebounds and added 4 blocked shots.

Honorable Mention:  Senior guard Josh Suggs contributed 10 points while accumulating 5 steals in the game, while senior Xavier Westbrook  scored 10 points with 4 rebounds.

Rocky River Ravens 

Basketball: 

Calik Thomas – The sophomore had his best game of the season scoring 25 points against Porter Ridge to lead all scorers.

Jalen Perry – The forward scored 24 points and made a major contribution keeping the Ravens in the game until the final minutes against the Pirates.

Narique Smith – The senior guard and team leader added 17 points in the contest against Porter Ridge.

Girls Basketball: 

Delayzha Dixon – This junior forward led all scorers with 23 points in the blowout win over the Lady Pirates.

Andresia Alexander – The hustling senior point guard contributed 23 points in the victory, she continues to have a very solid senior season for the Lady Ravens.

Mashya Scott – The consistent junior added a nice 11 points with multiple rebounds for the Lady Ravens in their win on Friday night.
