Independence Patriots

Soccer:



Cvan Than – The senior forward and school all-time record holder for goals and points at Independence high school history was selected to the Southwestern 4A Conference, and All-State Soccer Teams.  This is the second consecutive year Cvan achieved the high honor of being nominated to the All-State Soccer Team.

Chase Davis, Adam Ali, Dino Silva and Ro Lian were all selected to the Southwestern 4A All-Conference Soccer Team.

Basketball: 

Raja Milton – The senior point guard led all scorers with 17 points for the Patriots.

AJ McKee – The second senior guard who is part of the dynamic duo at Independence contributed 12 points in the teams first win of the season.

Girl’s Basketball: 

Braylyn Milton – The sophomore started off right where she left off last season scoring 16 points in the opening game of the season.

Basketball: 

Rocky River Ravens 

Basketball:

Narique Smith – The senior guard who appears to be the team leader this season scored 15 points including a slam dunk and multiple rebounds in the Ravens home opener against Phillip O. Berry.

Honorable Mention: Nick Burns scored 13 points and Tim Smith added 12 points and Tobias Forte contributed 10 points in the Ravens win over the Cardinals.

Queens Grant Stallions

Basketball: 

Jah’Quez Sanders – The dynamic senior guard led all scorers with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals on Tuesday night against CATA.  He also contributed 13 points  5 rebounds, 4 assists against SCCS in the teams home opener.

Javari Cox – The junior guard contributed 16 points in the Stallions win while he added 8 points against SCCS.

LB Boyette – LB scored 19 points in the SCSS win recently, while in the CATA ballgame he added 10 points for his efforts.

Xavier Westbrook – The senior forward added 10 points for his team with multiple rebounds to help lead the Stallions to victory.

Girl’s Basketball: 

Ashleigh Aberly – The junior forward scored 8 points with 6 rebounds against a recent opponent.  She added 12 points and 3 rebounds in the Sugar Creek game.

Summer Hamilton – The senior lead all scorers with 26 points against CATA in the teams first win of the season.

Jewell Williams – The center/power forward had 7 points and contributed 6 rebounds along with 6 blocked shots for the lady Stallions against CATA.
