Independence Patriots

Soccer: 



Cvan Than –  In 9 games played not including the Porter Ridge match the senior attacker and all time school scoring holder has 11 goals, 3 assists for a total of 25 points.  He is averaging 3.1 points per game.

Honorable Mention: Goes to David Martinez, the sophomore has contributed 6 goals, 6 assists for a total of 18 points, while senior Chris Davis has 7 goals with 2 assists for 16 points.

Rocky River Ravens

James Maye – The senior speedy standout wide receiver had a big game against Butler.  He caught a pass in full stride made a few fake moves and outraced everyone into the end zone for a 73 yard TD.  Maye later would score on a reverse play for a 46 yard TD.  He had multiple receptions of 36 yards, 29 yards and 11 yards.

Gabriel Linen – The senior running back picked up tough yardage all night for the Ravens against the Bulldogs.  Linen also galloped into the end zone on a 64 yard TD to begin the third quarter to put the Ravens up 23-15.

Brian Grier – The junior linebacker continues to play aggressively all over the football field for the Ravens.  He had multiple tackles with some big stops in key situations.  One such stop was on the one yard line and on a huge 4th down play in the first half.

Honorable Mention: Include Jaylon Sharpe, Zyone Easterling, Narique Smith on the defense and QB Brent Jones who connected on a 73 yard TD reception, then had a keeper for a 16 yard TD.

Butler Bulldogs: 

Christian Peters:  The senior QB showed his leadership, competitive spirit and never quit attitude in the Bulldogs 31-30 win.  He connected with Jaden Clark for a TD in the opening drive to start off the scoring.  Peters also directed the winning drive and scored the two point conversion for the victory late in the 4th quarter on a diving catch in the end zone on a halfback pass.

Queens Grant Stallions: 

Soccer: 

Mario Portillo – The senior has scored a team leading 13 goals, including 2 assists for a total of 28 points.  Micah Parker – The junior has contributed 8 goals, 2 assists for 18 points in 10 games this season for the Stallions.
