Independence Patriots

Baseball:



Raja Milton – The Patriots crafty lefty recently pitched a no hit shut-out performance against the Wildcats.  The junior went five full innings facing 17 batters for a good nights work on the mound.

Noah Howie: The Patriots talented power hitter smacked two triples in one week scoring 6 RBI’s to clear the bases against the Wildcats and Ravens in two Southwestern 4A games.

Softball:

Emily Shaver – The junior is leading the team after 12 games with a .567 batting average, has scored 14 runs, 17 hits, 5 RBI’s, 6 doubles, 1 triple, OBP .639, SLG .833, OPS 1.472.

Kingsley Reardon – The sophomore is hitting .452 in 12 games, 13 runs, 14 hits, 3 RBI’s, 4 doubles, OBP .541, SLG .580, OPS 1.222 for the Lady Patriots.

Maya Douglas – This freshman is making her mark after 12 games with a .393 batting average, 13 runs, 11 hits, 6 RBI’s, 3 doubles, 1 triple, with an OBP .528, SLG .571, OPS 1.099.

Men’s Lacrosse: 

Dylan Barnett – The senior midfielder has a team leading 21 goals on 57 shots on goal along with 7 assists for a total of 28 points for the Patriots in 10 games.

Matthew Kulikowski – The junior in 10 games played has accumulated 12 goals on 29 shots and 11 assists for 23 points.

Queens Grant Stallions

Baseball: 

Andy Duran – The super sophomore continues to standout with a team leading .600 batting average in 9 games, scored 19 runs, 15 hits, 14 RBI’s, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, OBP .656, SLG .1.120, OPS . 1.776 leading the team in all major categories.

John Orlowski – The senior team leader is hitting .400 in 9 games, 11 runs, 10 hits, 13 RBI’s 2, doubles, 1 home run with an OBP .444, SLG .600, OPS 1.044.  He also has 17.1 innings pitched for the Stallions with a 2-1 record.

Bryce Gorospe – The junior has a batting average of .381, 13 runs, 8 hits, 9 RBI’s 6 doubles, 1 home run, OBP .500, SLG .809, OPS 1.310.  Bryce has pitched 13.1 innings with a 2-1 record.

Rocky River Ravens 

Baseball: 

Jared Carter –  The senior leader for the Ravens is leading the team in many categories.  Batting average .500, 10 runs, 15 hits, 3 RBI’s, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 10 stolen bases with an OBP .615, SLG.633, OPS 1.248 in 12 full games.

Butler Bulldogs  

Baseball: 

Kyle Ziefert – The junior is hitting .472 in 11 games for the Bulldogs.  His 36 at bats has led to 16 runs, 17 hits, 4 RBI’s with 2 doubles and 1 triple.  Kyle has an OBP .574. SLG .583, OPS 1.157.

Softball: 

Emily Sherman – The talented freshman in 11 games has a team leading .562 batting average, in 32 at bats she has accumulated 11 runs, 18 hits, 9 RBI’s, 2 doubles and 1 home run.  Her OBP .622, SLG .718, OPS 1.341.

Hannah Harmon – She is hitting .517 in 11 games knocking out 15 hits on 29 at bats.  The junior has 8 runs, 8 RBI’s, 2 doubles and 1 triple.  Hannah’s OBP .588, SLG .655, OPS 1.243 for the Bulldogs.
