Basketball:Â
Andra McKee: The junior enjoyed his biggest game of the season. AJ led team with 20 points to victory in the NCHSAA state finals giving the Patriots their second State Championship in school history. He also added 3 assists, 2 steals, 4 rebounds, 1 block while shooting 2-3 three pointers and was flawless 4-4 from the free throw line.
Jamarius Burton: The outstanding all around senior had a solid game with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and shooting 5-7 from the free throw line. Jamarius has been the team leader and most consistent player all season.
Matt Smith:Â The junior big man scored 12 points, hauled down 6 rebounds, had 3 blocked shots and hit 6-8 free throws in the championship game.
Raja Milton: The fluid guard contributed 11 points, with 4 assists, 6 steals and shot 6-7 from the foul line in a nice effort for the Patriots.
Honorable Mention: Jordan Mobley, had 9 points and 4 rebounds, Miles Pauldin added 4 key points, with 2 rebounds while sophomore guard Anthony Allen had 2 points in the win which was truly a team effort.
Men’s Lacrosse:Â
Dylan Barnett: Selected as Player of the Game in the 9-8 loss to Sun Valley. Dylan had 5 goals on 9 shots the best scoring game of any Indy player this season. He also added 9 assists giving him a total of 14 points for the game to lead the team. Â
Queens Grant High School Stallions
Baseball:Â
Andy Duran: The talented sophomore has blasted 2 home runs, 1 triple and 4 doubles so far in the early going of the season for the Stallions who are currently 5-1. He has also accumulated multiple RBI’s producing key hits during scoring opportunities.
John Orlowski: The senior “Big John” pitched four innings of shut-out baseball, giving up just one hit and 10 strikeouts in a the win over Carolina International. Also, he went 3-3 against Rocky River with 2 RBI’s.
Bryce Gorospe: The junior started his first game for the Stallions and pitched 4 solid innings against Rocky River recently with 7 strikeouts while allowing just one hit. Bryce also helped his cause by adding two doubles going 2-2 with 3 RBI’s in the ball game.

Jared Carter: The senior leader for the Ravens is having a good start to a rough season for Rocky River baseball. He is hitting .588 on the season, has 11 hits, 2 doubles, 5 walks with only 2 K’s in 7 games. His OBP .682, Slugging .705, and OPS 1.388.
Butler High School Bulldogs
Baseball:
Grayson Chesser: The junior infielder is hitting .545 with 4 doubles and 7 RBI’s in the early going. His OBP .538, Slugging .909 and OPS .1.477 for the Bulldogs.
Kyle Ziefert: He is having a fast start for the Bulldogs with a batting average of .533, with one extra base hit, 2 RBI’s, 4 walks and 2 stolen bases. Kyle’s OBP .619, Slugging .600, and OPS .1.219.
