Independence High School Patriots 

Basketball: 



Jordan Mobley:  The senior guard scored 17 points to lead the Patriots over the Trojans.  He also had 2 key steals leading to quick fast break points in the fourth period.

Jamarius Burton: The fabulous 6′ 5″ smooth senior guard contributed 12 points shooting 8 out of 10 free throws while hauling in 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in the win against Olympic.

Matt Smith: The strong 6’6″ junior contributed 11 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block for the Patriots to carry the team into the Regional Finals.

Raja Milton: The junior guard added 10 points with 4 rebounds.  However, his 5 assists and 5 steals played a critical role in the win over the Trojans.

Rocky River High School Ravens

Basketball: 

Jaden Springer: The super sophomore continued his spectacular play with another double-double leading all scorers with 28 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in the Ravens exciting win over rival Butler to advance to the Regional Finals.

Darlinstone Dubar: The junior contributed 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks to help his team advance in the State Playoffs to face hometown rival Independence.

Trayden Williams: The junior guard for the second consecutive week earned his way on to this column scoring 11 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals against the Bulldogs.

Butler High School Bulldogs

Basketball: 

Raquan Brown: The talented junior scored 23 points, had 5 rebounds and 2 blocks for the Bulldogs against local rival Rocky River.

Gerrale Gates: The powerful senior in the middle under the boards for the Bulldogs scored 14 points, hauled down 14 rebounds for the double-double while adding 3 blocks in the loss to the Ravens in Round 4 of the State Playoffs.

Jalen Gibson: The senior had a solid game with 11 points, 10 rebounds for a double-double and 2 blocks in his final game at Butler.

DJ Little: The underrated senior guard who can do it all scored 11 points, added 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in his final contest for the Bulldogs against rival Rocky River.
