Independence High School Patriots

Football



Dylan Bryan – The Patriots senior sure handed wide receiver caught eight passes for a total of 102 yards and three touchdowns against Hopewell High School a few weeks back adding to his consistent weekly performance for Independence.  His ability to run precise pass patterns and speed make Dylan a key offensive weapon and threat.

Soccer 

Jack Hebert – Scored the game winning goal against Olympic this past week.  Jack also scored a goal against West Mecklenburg and had three assists in the game for the Patriots who are now 5-1 on the season.

Football  

Rocky River High School Ravens 

Football 

Brent Jones – Junior QB rushed 11 times for 130 yards and one touchdown against Vance on Friday night.  Brent also completed 5 of 8 passes for 43 yards in a tough overtime loss while showing leadership on the field.

Zyone Easterling – The Ravens Free Safety had a game on Friday night under the lights.  He intercepted 2 passes and returned one for a 27 yard touchdown to give the Ravens a quick 6-0 lead.  He also had 5 solo tackles with some big time hits with 1.5 assists.

Gabriel Linen –  The junior running back rushed for 12 times picking up 61 productive yards in key situations for the Ravens.  He also had 1 pass reception for 8 yards giving the home team a huge first down.

Mahdi Kabbah – Senior offensive linemen played an outstanding game on the line of scrimmage protecting the quarterback giving up no sacks and opening up some big gapping holes for the quarterback and running backs to ramble through to pick up big yardage.

Queens Grant High School Stallions 

Soccer

Jose Durate – The senior goalkeeper has played consistently in the net for the Stallions during the first 3 matches.  Jose has kept his team competitive in every game with 30 saves in 240 minutes on the field.
