The Ravens 6’3″ 220 pound junior linebacker was nominated to the Southwestern 4A All-Conference team and was selected as the Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

Jaylon is a strong, quick, and hard hitting linebacker who can cover the entire football field with speed, agility and has a nose for the football.  He is also a two sport athlete as he is a solid baseball player who will pitch, play third base and center field for the Ravens.

He is a good student who has been getting A’s and B’s in his studies in the classroom.  He is maturing and learning the responsibility of handling the importance of academics and combining his athletic talents.  His best subject is mathematics and he really enjoys numbers and solving math problems.

His future is working with numbers and he has an interest in accounting, finance and possibly engineering.  He has attracted a lot of interest from Division I programs which include North Carolina, East Carolina, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Old Dominion and UNCC football locally.

Jaylon’s  family is most important to him and he hopes to be playing with his brother who is a Freshman at Rocky River High School.  According to Jaylon his brother is already 6’2″ and his growing to be potentially bigger than himself.  He also has a six year old sister Kennedi who is his biggest fan and he adores her.  He would like to thank his parents for all their support and guidance, especially during the process of selecting the right program and university for him to attend.

He is a people person who is a fun loving fellow.  He has made a commitment to both his athletic and academic pursuits.  Jaylon, would like to thank Ravens Football Coach Orlando Gray who has made a difference in his life this past year and has become a real mentor.

Jaylon is working hard right now in the weight room to prepare for the upcoming summer camp and for his senior year at Rocky River to have a winning season and be in contention for the conference title.  He is mentally and physically preparing for the Spring baseball season as well so the Ravens can compete in a highly competitive conference.
