Independence High School Patriots

Wes Cook –  Patriots senior quarterback passed for 163 yards and one touchdown, rushed for 91 yards and averaged 31.7 yards on punts with a long of 42 yards.



Dylan Bryan – Indy senior wide receiver caught 11 passes for 149 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown pass with some nifty running for the score.  Bryan also had a kick return of 23 yards for the Patriots.

Zach Repak – Junior defensive back had an excellent game with two key interceptions for the Patriots to squelch drives by the nationally-ranked Dutch Fork Silver Foxes.

Ty Clawson – The Indy senior linebacker had a solid opening game making tackles all over the field against Dutch Fork, the 2016 South Carolina State Champion.

Rocky River High School Ravens 

Jailyn Wilson –  The 5-11, 180-pound senior Raven had an18-yard sprint for a touchdown against South Iredell on Friday night.

James Maye – The speedy 5-7, 145-pound junior had an explosive 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the third quarter in the opener at South Iredell.
