Gabriel Linen –  The senior running back for the Rocky River Ravens rushed for a 151 yards on 13 carries for an average of 11.6 yards per carry and scored one touchdown.  His longest run from scrimmage was 65 yards.

James Maye –  The senior Ravens speedster had two receptions for 97 yards and one touchdown.  The big play of the night came on a 78 yard TD reception from QB Brent Jones on a hook route over the middle.  Maye also rushed for 8 yards giving him a total of 105 all purpose yards on Friday night.



Cvan Than –  The Independence High School all time soccer single season scoring leader has begun this season playing in two matches and scoring a goal in both games for the Patriots.  The senior scored a season high 32 goals in 2017 and is having a fast start for his final campaign.  The previous single season scoring record at Independence was 22 goals. Cvan was also selected as the Player of the Game during the first week of the new season.
