Local Basketball Team Conference Final Standings

As the regular basketball season comes to an end the following final standings will show how the local schools performed over the 2018-2019 season.  The teams the Mint Hill Times covers are Independence, Queen’s Grant and Rocky River on a consistent basis throughout the entire season.  We also always cover the Butler games when they compete against the local teams in the Southwestern Conference as these are big rival games between the Matthews and Mint Hill area.

Southwestern 4A Conference Final Basketball Standings 



Men’s Division 

  1. Independence           12-2           18-6

Note 1: Independence and Butler finished tied at the end of the regular season.  On Saturday Indy won the coin toss and will be the number one seed in the upcoming Conference tournament.

Note 2: The Patriots will open up against Garinger at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, February 19th at Myers Park.
