2004 Independence Baseball Team

Prior to the start of Tuesday’s game Independence High School honored the 2004 baseball team.  The 2004 Patriots was coached by Ron Coltrane and completed the season with a 29-4 record.

In 2004 the Patriots played in the MECA 8 Conference.  Indy won the conference and tournament championship and was runner up in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4A state championship game.



The following players were recognized and threw out the ceremonial first pitch:

Head Coach Ron Coltrane, Assistant Coach Kelly Moore,  Aaron Bray, Robby Bray, Daniel Cooke, Zak Farry, Tyson Hibbs, Evan Taylor, Jeff Rocket, Trey Starnes, Andrew Starnes and scorekeeper Grant Harvell.
