Raymond A. ” Mickey” Woodcock Jr. went to be with his Lord Tuesday May 23, 2017 he was 83 years old.
Mickey was born in Wilmington NC. on February 4, 1934, to Raymond and Natalie A. Woodcock Sr. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years Patsy, his children Christopher (Julie K.) Davis, Shannon Davis (Dale King) , Timothy (Wendy) Woodcock, Gregory Woodcock, Shannon Woodcock Crews (Dennis) , Susan Woodcock Lindahl (Mike Raulerson); 13 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren; his brother Ronnie Woodcock; his aunt Bobbi Gore, also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. Mickey proudly served his country in United States Navy and will be laid to rest in the Salisbury National Cemetery.
The family has given the privilege of serving the family to the Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC 28105.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, June 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home. On Monday, June 5, at 11:30 am, Mr. Michael Neddo will lead all present in a service to celebrate the life, love and blessing of Mickey. A private interment will follow at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
