Last week, board & club members joined Cindy Wilson in planting a tree on the course of Pine Lake Country Club in honor of former member, Tom Wilson. Tom and his wife, Cindy joined Pine Lake in 2011 after a recommendation from their Piper Glen neighbor, Wayne Gibson. “We chose to drive 10+ miles each way to Pine Lake rather than join Piper Glen, which was right around the corner from our house. When Tom passed unexpectedly, Pine Lake friends proved to me WHY we made the right decision,” recalls Cindy, “I was embraced and enveloped in love, affection, sympathy, and compassion by so many members; Pine Lake became an even important part of my family.” Tom, a bank regulator for the US Treasury Department for over 30 years was known for his spirited personality and huge smile. He was larger than life, and members of Pine Lake wanted to honor this memory by remembering him daily on the course.
Pine Lake Country Club, located in the heart of Mint Hill, is celebrating 65 years of service and dedication to its members.
We welcome everyone to visit our club (5504 Lebanon Road), and join the Pine Lake family. For more information, please visit: www.pinelakecountryclub.com
