Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce moving office location

The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce has made a decision to move from their small office location to a large office located in the same building complex in downtown Mint Hill.

The new location is virtually around the corner and there is tons of work that needs to get done before the staff will officially move in on May 1, 2019.  There currently are plans to have the ribbon cutting ceremony and social event on Tuesday May 7th from 5 to 8 pm.

The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce is located at 7900 Matthews Mint Hill Road, Suite No. 107-D in Mint Hill.  Currently the Chamber operates from a 600 square foot office.  The new office plan in the same building complex will be 1800 square feet of space giving the non-profit all the room they will need for meetings, events and many other activities that  will benefit the local business community and its members.

The Chamber is governed by 15 elected Board of Directors as well as the organization’s adopted by-laws.  “We also function as the Office of Tourism for Mint Hill and offer new residents, families relocating and visitors information on living and working in Mint Hill, said Paige McKinney, Executive Director of the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce.

Mint Hill is a suburban community with many amenities and opportunities while offering a small town atmosphere with charm.  The business community is growing and especially in the downtown center with many new retail stores and shops opening for business.

The Mint Hill Chamber is growing with 230 members strong who are active in the community.  The organization provides many ways to assist their members.  There are monthly member luncheons with speakers, business after hours, ribbon cutting ceremonies and grand opening events.  They also offer an online directory, website advertising and SEO enhancements to improve a company’s web presence and much more.



This is how the new office location can become a real benefit and asset for both the members and the community at large.  There will be a lobby showcase room at the entrance, a spare working office for members, meeting rooms, a conference room, a kitchen and break room, including an outdoor courtyard atrium.

Meanwhile, the kitchen renovation is ongoing and their is a need for a refrigerator, microwave, bistro table, ceiling tiles, coffee maker and other items.
