Mint Hill, N.C., Jan. 18— The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome new additions to the 2019 Board of Directors and announce the officers of the Executive Board effective Jan. 2019.

Joy Greear, President, Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, will serve as President of the Executive Board along with Tony Long of Mint Hill Tool Rental as Immediate Past President, Anna Granger of 1st Choice Properties, Inc. as Vice President, Tara Goodfellow of Athena Consultants, Inc. as Secretary, and Dave Martinson of Create A Video as Treasurer.

“I am honored to have been elected as the president for 2019. 2018 was an exciting year –one of growth, new members, new events, and lots of great networking! Our goal is to build on the momentum by partnering with the local business owners, local government officials, and the board of directors to promote local businesses and showcase the great place Mint Hill is to live, work, and play,” says Greear on her appointment as President. “Please join us this year and help us to GROW Mint Hill!”

The Chamber is also welcoming three new first-term Directors, Jennifer Manchester of Suburban Properties of Charlotte, Kevin Mays of Mays Concepts, LLC and Kim Rhodarmer of Servant’s Heart of Mint Hill- Assistance Programs and Community Boutique.

“I’ve been a part of the Chamber for many years and there’s a growing excitement as we head into 2019. During our recent board retreat we discussed the momentum we have picked up and how to build on it to contribute even more to the Mint Hill community and help our businesses thrive,” said Tony Long, Immediate Past President. “I’m looking forward to working alongside of this great group of people.”

The Chamber of Commerce would also like to recognize all current members of the Board of Directors: Nate Huggins of Blessed Assurance Adult Care, Phil Angelo of Leisure Travel Experts, Colleen Rhyant of Atrium Health, Rick Peniston of Peniston-Deason Attorneys, Sandy Harrison of Photographic Elegance Inc., Brian Mangum of Brightflow Technologies and Robert Kinney.

The Chamber is also grateful to the Directors whose terms have just ended, Heath Tinsley of Charlotte Green Earth, Boyd Davis of BB&T Bank, and John Hurst, for all of the great work performed on behalf of the Chamber and in service of the Town of Mint Hill.
