The Mint Hill Police Department graduated 13 people from this year’s Citizens Academy. Chief Tim Ledford stressed in his graduation remarks the importance of community policing programs such as Neighborhood Watch. “No police department can put an officer on every street corner,” Ledford said. “You can be our eyes and ears on the street.” The next class will be held in Fall 2017.
