The winners of the Romie and Judy Mizell Photography Show at Mint Hill Arts were announced at the Opening Reception on April 6. Photography was judged in two categories: Unaltered, which utilizes minimal post-processing, and Modified, in which post-processing is used to create the finished product. The show had 52 entries. Best in Show, which was awarded without reference to category, went to Sandy Harrison for her work “Magical Moments.” Sharon Houck took both 1st and 2nd place in Unaltered Photography for her photographs “Soot #3” and “Accrued Interest,” respectively. The third place award in that category went to Judy Feree for “McClellanville Chapel.”
