The Seventh Annual Mint Hill Kiwanis Golf Tournament is 8/16/18 at Emerald Lake Golf Club.  There are still many levels of sponsorship available and time for teams to sign up to play.

The golf tournament enables the Mint Hill Kiwanis Club to continue their work in the community with local schools.  Currently they sponsor the Terrific Kids programs at Bain Elementary, Clear Creek Elementary, J.H. Gunn Elementary and Lebanon Road Elementary.  Last year’s tournament was able to provide each of these schools with $1000 to purchase supplementary reading books that the schools needed. Additionally, Mint Hill Kiwanis was able to provide every third grader at these elementary schools with a take home dictionary.  The Independence High School Key club is also sponsored by the Mint Hill Kiwanis and last year 4 – $1000 college scholarships were provided to qualifying Independence seniors.
