It’s time once again for “Mint Hill Arts’ People’s Choice Show,” where members of the community pick the winners in five categories: Best in Show, Prettiest, Funniest, Most Creative, and Best Repurposed Art. The competition is fierce, so be sure to come to the gallery at 11205 Lawyers Road in Mint Hill to see the show and vote for your favorites.

The show begins on Friday, August 3 with the Opening Reception from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the gallery. At the reception, the public is invited not only to vote, but also to enjoy refreshments, art, and good conversation. The reception is free. If you miss the reception, voting occurs all during the month. The gallery is open weekly Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. The show closes on August 29; winners in each category will be awarded ribbons at the Reception for the September show on Friday, September 7.

All artists, both members and non-members, are invited to submit artwork for the People’s Choice competition and all mediums are accepted. Intake for the show will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, and from 10:00 a.m. – noon on Saturday, July 28.
