Mint Hill Arts is proud to announce for December and January its biggest show of the year, the Ann and Bill Litaker Exhibit. This annual juried show is dedicated to longtime dedicated members Ann and Bill Litaker. Bill is with us in spirit and Ann graces our “art oasis” on an almost daily basis.
The show is open to members and non-members alike and has four categories, including Water Media, Photography, Painting, and Other Visual Arts. In addition to a Best in Show Award of $300, the following prizes will be awarded in each category: 1st Place – $100, 2nd Place – $75, 3rd Place – $50, and two Honorable Mentions – $25 gift certificates.
Intake for the show will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Friday, December 1, and 10:00 A.M. – noon on Saturday, December 2, at the Gallery at 11205 Lawyers Road in Mint Hill. The opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will be on Friday, December 8; awards will be presented beginning at 8:00 P.M. The show will hang until January 24, 2017.
