Located in a quaint rustic bungalow right beside Mi Fuente Restaurant, Carters Place Art Center offers Paint your own Pottery and Clay Pottery classes – Wheel throwing and hand building classes. You can hang out with friends anytime Wed.-Sat. 10-8pm in a relaxed studio environment while you Paint your own Pottery. All the PYOP pieces include- studio time,your paint, glaze and firing. She has lots of fun PYOP pieces for kids, teens and adults to let their creativity and paintbrush run wild upon! Donna or one of her instructors is always there to help guide you and inspire you to create a fun one of a kind piece. Prices range from $9.95 to $39.95.
JB Workshop classes with Jody are instructor led, hands on DIY classes. You can bring a snack, relax and have fun while you create your own wood plank sign or other chic home decor projects while using drills & screws, hammer & nails, sand paper etc. She uses and array of acrylic paints, water base stains. Her DIY Wood Signs and Southern chic projects are on trend and unique with a touch of whimsy. Her vinyl stencil designs can be personalized with family names and Monograms. She will be expanding to stencil on canvas, chalkboard, Glass and more this fall. There is no experience necessary to attend one of her workshops, just bring your creativity, the willingness to learn and she’ll teach you the rest! Classes range from $20-$65. Because seating is limited and all the preparation that goes into each class, you must Pre-register on line for all JB Workshop classes.
You can also reserve studio space for Private events such as Ladies night out, Birthday & Bachelorette parties, Home school groups, Scouts groups, Mothers morning out groups.
