According to a recent YouGov poll, the two most common New Year’s resolutions for 2018, with each option tied at 37%, were to “eat healthier” and “exercise more.” With the busy lives we tend to lead, it’s clear that the major obstacle to getting fit isn’t motivation; it’s convenience.
Workout Anytime, currently under construction at the corner of Lawyers and Wilson Grove Roads, aims to obliterate that obstacle. The value-priced health club will offer 24 hour access 7 days a week at competitive prices.
For as low as $19.00 per month, members will have 24-7 access to rows of popular cardio equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, stair climbers and stationary bikes, brand-new Matrix Selectorize Strength Training Equipment, and a variety of free weights and assisted weight lifting equipment. All members will enjoy the use of Workout Anytime’s flat screen televisions, wireless internet, and locker rooms and showers. Members can visit Workout Anytime locations anywhere in the country.

Workout Anytime joins a selection of other fitness options in Mint Hill, including other 24-7 gyms like Snap Fitness and Anytime Fitness. However, Workout Anytime stands apart from the rest with its impressively low monthly rates and host of member perks not offered elsewhere. Their premium membership, priced at only $29.00 per month, includes unlimited use of the facilities’ Ergoline tanning bands and HydroMassage units. All new members receive a complimentary “Success Session” with a personal coach, and premium members continue to receive monthly evaluations as part of their program. Additional options like personal training, small group training, and boot camps are offered as a separate amenity.

Workout Anytime Mint Hill is owned by Chris Grove, who bought into the Workout Anytime franchise in 2015 with off-site business partners Larry Hayes and Gary Hill. Mint Hill joins two other Workout Anytime locations operated by Grove, Hayes and Hill in Kannapolis and Indian Trail.

“We just loved the community,” says Grove regarding the decision to expand to Mint Hill. “It looked like there was a lot of opportunity to help people get healthier and live longer. It’s an amazing community to serve. We’re really excited to be a part of Mint Hill.” The trio hopes to open two more Workout Anytime locations in the Charlotte area by the end of 2018.
“We love helping people and giving back to the community,” says Grove regarding what sets Workout Anytime apart from the pack. “We like to partner in different outreaches,” he adds, citing how his gyms have partnered with churches to raise money for mission outreach. “We like to get in the community and serve.”
Workout Anytime is set to open at the beginning of March, but you can save even more if you get in on the action early. The first 250 members will receive free enrollment, a savings of up to $99.00. Stop by the trailer located outside Workout Anytime during staffed hours (Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm; Friday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm) or email minthill@workoutanytime.com to reserve your place in the presale.
