Expect to see a chocolate strawberry blend as well as a surprise still-under-wraps “special” the weekend before Valentine’s Day. Mama K’s has individual gift-sized bags of popcorn available that are perfect way to show anyone you’re thinking of them this Valentine’s Day. Normally open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Mama K’s will also be open on Valentine’s Day from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm for anyone who needs a last-minute gift! Take a drive up 485 to Northlake Mall for their Valentine’s Day Bash on Saturday, February 11, from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. The event in Center Court will feature photo opportunities with Cinderella and Prince Charming in front of a magical flower and balloon wall, a Valentine’s Day craft station, snacks, drinks, music and more! This event is free and family-friendly; princess and prince costumes are encouraged! Northlake Mall is located at 6801 Northlake Mall Drive.

The Mint Hill location will be offering heart-shaped biscuits and heart-shaped pans for 10-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis, 30-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets and 6-count Chocolate Chunk Cookies (while supplies last). Bring your kids to Lowe’s for a DIY workshop! Starting at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 11, your kids can make a Sweetheart Swan Note Holder. DIY Workshops are held at many local Lowe’s locations, including the E. Charlotte location on Albemarle Road and the S.E. Charlotte location located on Matthews Township Parkway. On Saturday, February 11, at 7:30 pm, Mint Hill Coffee & Social House will host a Valentine’s-themed Trivia night. The night promises great food and drink specials, including a special Valentine’s secret drink menu. Play individually or in a team of up to four. Mint Hill Coffee & Social House is located in downtown Mint Hill next to the police station.
On Sunday, February 12, from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Sunflower Club Cafe will host a Valentine Pop Up market. The event will feature artists and artisans as well as a BBQ rib fundraiser to benefit the Sunflower Club’s Outreach programs. The Sunflower Club Cafe is located on Lawyer’s Road across from The Hill Bar & Grill.
