Combined the group offers a variety of adult and youth martial arts and fitness classes.  For the kids, they offer an After School Program which is designed to protect your children while developing life skills in building moral principles, etiquette, structure, teamwork, and building self-confidence by learning martial arts and keeping active through exercise and fitness.

For both adults and youth, they offer training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Karate, DXF Training, Indian Land Mixed Martial Arts, Taboada, Daito Aikijujutsu, and overall fitness.

Cor Fitness was recently recognized among Charlottes Best Mixed Martial Arts schools, they were ranked second in Best Youth Fitness Organization, third in Best Boxing/MMA Gym, seventh in Best Strength and Conditioning Gym, and tenth in the Best Bootcamp category.

Tony Boncore, founder and principal owner, mentioned, “There are hundreds of Martial Arts schools to choose from in the Charlotte market, we are so grateful to be voted as one of the best.”

This writer can speak first hand about my own experience with Cor Fitness. Just two years ago being recently retired, I wanted to focus on keeping fit, I walked into Cor Fitness and met Tony for the first time. I was skeptical, concerned about what we could accomplish at my age, especially after recovering from a serious injury in 2010, however, decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a great decision, I became physically stronger, my flexibility and quickness over time increased dramatically, my self-confidence was back, the swagger of my youth returned in my mind. I once again felt strong and really healthy with the three-day workout routine. We focused and trained on physical fitness, boxing, and kickboxing. After almost two years of training under Tony’s instruction and Juan, who is a fourth-degree black belt in Kempo Karate, the transformation both physically and mentally was amazing. It just proves, if motivated and working with dedicated, passionate and committed professionals great things can be achieved at any age or stage in your life.

By offering the first month free is huge, it gives an individual four weeks to see the transformation and benefit of the workout regime. Like anything else in life, you get out of it what you are willing to put into the endeavor. Most gyms offer a free week or a certain number of classes, however, it’s not enough time for your body to make the adjustment and you are sore or have some discomfort. The 30-day trial gives your body the time it needs to adjust while getting you into the right frame of mind.

Cor Fitness MMA and DXF Training can make a difference in your life, give it a try for a month, then make an informed decision based on your experience in a regular energetic workout routine while learning martial arts skills including self-defense.

Finally, it’s fun, you meet a lot of interesting and good people. You build up a camaraderie that helps keep you focused and motivated to do your best. To continue achieving and learning new things is important both physically and for your mental wellbeing.
