MINT HILL, NC – Giving back to the community is important, especially in times when families are in need of essential repairs that they are not always able to afford when the time comes. There is a Veteran in our community that has made it his mission to give back in the best way that he knows how. Through his love for his community and his business, Jordan Cox, owner of Roof Medic, provides deserving families with free roofs.

Mr. Cox is a veteran that served as an army combat medic and then joined a climbing division in New York called the 10th Mountain Division. From his experience in the Army, he not only found his passion for helping others but also found that climbing was an adventure that he was always up for. His passion for helping others and his love for climbing naturally came together to inspire him to enter the roofing industry. This move not only brought his passions together but set his future up for a great career and business opportunity.

Jordan founded his business, Roof Medic, on being able to bridge the gap between homeowners and contractors. Hiring a contractor can be an experience that not all homeowners look forward to, and Jordan wanted to change this standard. He wanted to make the relationship with the homeowner a personal experience that would leave them feeling wonderful about having a new roof installed. This allowed him to help others while still climbing to new heights not only personally but with a wonderful career. Another service that Roof Medic specializes in is bridging the gap between clients who have roof damage from natural disasters and being able to successfully submit claims to the insurance companies. Roof Medic will not only work with your insurance company to get the claims covered but will also deliver the highest quality products and installation to all their clients. Their promise and ability to deliver to their clients are absolutely amazing.

Roof Medic has found amazing success in the industry, and they want to honor the surrounding community, thanking them for their support by making sure to give back. Mr. Cox and his wife always knew they wanted to give back to deserving families but were not always sure what it would look like. This year was the year they found their “mission.” It became a realization that giving away a free roof to a well-deserving family is exactly what they would do. Their vision came together, and they founded the “Roof Rescue” Mission.

The team at Roof Medic works together to build a list of nominees of families that are in need of a roof. Each of the nominees ais selected by team members. These nominees are families in the community that are outstanding members. They are families that are active in the community and are always looking for ways to help and give back no matter what their situation is. The “Roof Rescue” Mission is designed to provide a roof free of charge to the deserving family.

“Roof Rescue” Mission was able to complete its first project on Thursday, October 22. The Roof Medic gave away a new roof to a veteran and active Mint Hill firefighter. This well-deserving family always gives back to the community any chance that they get. The team at Roof Medic all agreed hands down that this family would be the best to receive the first roof from this mission. The “Roof Rescue” Mission is a continuing project, and they hope to be able to provide at least one free roof per year to well-deserving families around the community.
