
MINT HILL, NC – The Butler Bulldog QB ended the regular season with a huge game to defeat arch rival Independence 42-13. The senior transfer from Mallard Creek who is a pro-style QB and a dual-threat displayed his full arsenal of talent on the football field on Friday night at the Dawg Pound.
Brower tossed 3 touchdown passes of 7, 48, and 25 yards. He engineered 5 solid drives while accumulating big yardage both in the air and on the ground at key moments during the football game. Especially in the second half when the Bulldogs showed their dominance in the Southwest 4A Football Conference after leading 14-13 at the half.
The writer’s unofficial stats show he had accumulated a total of 154 passing yards on 16 attempts for an average gain of 9.6 yards per completion, and gained another 63 yards rushing on 5 carries for a grand total of 217 yards of offense for the Bulldogs who will be heading into the state playoffs.
