MINT HILL, NC – Congratulations to Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Paige McKinney on being selected by Charlotte Media Group as one of the Charlotte area’s 50 Most Dynamic Women of 2021.
In November of 2021, Charlotte Media Group called on their social media followers to nominate dynamic women to be highlighted in a special edition of the group’s newspapers early this year. Not solely looking for female CEOs or powerhouse businesswomen, Charlotte Media Group sought to honor women from all walks of life who have carried us through the uncertainty of the pandemic with their positive attitude, energy, and new ideas; women who have given freely of their time, talents and resources to make a positive impact in the face of the obstacles the past two years have lain at our feet.
The women selected as the “50 Most Dynamic” of 2021 will be honored at an inaugural 50 Most Dynamic Women event, and Charlotte Media Group will print a special, commemorative magazine to highlight them. “I love the idea of telling their stories in this publication, but also celebrating these women with the hope that their stories will inform, resonate and inspire,” wrote Justin Vick in The Charlotte Weekly on November 24.
In talking to business owners and leaders in the Mint Hill community, it’s clear why McKinney was selected. “Paige is the glue that holds this Chamber of Commerce together,” says Chamber member and 1st Choice Properties Owner Anna Granger. “She is a cheerleader, a hard worker, and has an acute sense of fresh ideas that will grow the Chamber and its positive influence on the Mint Hill business community. She is a true asset and is doing a phenomenal job every single day!”
“Paige has transformed the Mint Hill Chamber,” says Servant’s Heart of Mint Hill owner Kim Rhodarmer, who also sits on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as Immediate Past President. “She is engaging, vivacious, and forward-thinking. She is all about the Mint Hill business community and establishes initiatives to support those businesses. This is a well-deserved honor!”
“Growing up with Paige as my mom, I always knew how dynamic she is!” says McKinney’s daughter Madi, a loan officer at SeaTrust Mortgage. “She raised me and my siblings, had an amazing career, and made sure our lives were full of fun and love. Now the rest of Charlotte gets to see how amazing she is too. I’m so proud of her!”
