The Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center celebrated its first anniversary recently with their staff and employees at the facility. The actual date of the opening was October 1, 2018 with much fan fair within the local community. This included various local events and a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony.

This year the celebration was designed for team members and their families held over the weekend prior to the Monday workday when the medical center is fully staffed and operating at higher rate of capacity. Also, its a school day and this was a family fun filled event.

The celebration was held on campus so that all team members could participate if they were not working and those who were working could also attend and join the festivities. There was plenty of great food, a local band, games and bouncy houses for the kids, with popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream for the youngsters and their parents. Everyone had a great time!

“It is an exciting time for us to be celebrating our one year anniversary! We are proud to be in the Mint Hill community, and we love when we can provide remarkable healthcare in order for patients to stay close to home. The community has embraced us and trusted us with their care, and we are grateful. We look forward to another great year, said Joy Greear, President and COO at the Novant Health Mint Hill medical Center.
