Cindy Angelelli is a local mixed media artist who creates unique artwork and accessories that enable people to affordably express their individualism. She incorporates original photography, fabric, found objects, paint, and more into colorful, textural works inspired by nature, literature, and life’s simple pleasures.
Angelelli is a lifelong photographer who took up painting after retiring from a career in engineering and management at Duke Energy. She has blended her love of photography, painting, collage, and boundary-crossing into a mixed media style that is stunning. She not only creates art, but serves the local arts community as a member of the Executive Committee at Mint Hill Arts where she is the grant writer and an art instructor. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the engineering career academy at JM Robinson High School.
Her presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, at the Mint Hill Arts gallery at 11205 Lawyers Road in Mint Hill. The public is invited and the lecture is free, so mark your calendars to attend.
