Featured Athlete of the Week: 

Justin Little – The Patriots talented sophomore QB continues to shine and mount up the statistics with his on the field performance. He grows more confident each game and has shown maturity over the season with his decision making.



Little had 16 completions on 21 attempts for 262 yards. He averaged 16.2 yards per completion with a .762 completion rate along with one touchdown. His longest pass completion was for 37 yards. He rushed for another 55 yards on 7 carries for 2 touchdowns. Therefore, he accumulated 317 yards of total offense and 3 TD’s in the football game on Friday night.

On the season he has generated an outstanding presence in 9 games with 126 completions on 181 attempts for 2040 yards, a .696 completion rate, averaging 226.7 yards per game, with 21 TD’s through the air. His QB rating is an excellent 131.9.

He is a dual purpose threat and has rushed for 434 yards on 53 carries with another 7 TD’s for the Patriots. Combined he has 2474 yards and 28 touchdowns this season.

Honorable Mention: 

Landan Carr – The sophomore RB had his best game of the season. He had only 4 carries but totaled 118 yards on the ground with 2 touchdowns. His longest TD rumble was for 56 yards breaking the game wide open for Independence.

Sincere McIntyre – The senior RB on 5 carries had 24 yards rushing with a TD. Also, he caught 4 passes for 60 yards, averaging 15.0 yards per reception, and his longest was a 37 yard catch. He accumulated 84 all purpose yards.

Shaun Solomon – Another senior workhorse had 57 rushing yards on 12 carries averaging 4.8 yards per carry, his longest run from scrimmage was a 31 yard touchdown. He also caught a pass for another 18 yards for a total of 75 all purpose yards.

Charlie Gottlieb – The senior Patriot kicker drilled a 40 yard field goal and had a total of 10 points in the football game on a perfect night making every extra point count high and deep through the uprights.

Joseph Reddish – The senior kick-off and punt return specialist made a nice contribution accumulating 68 yards while playing a solid defensively knocking down several potential pass receptions.
