Recently, the Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center held an event for women to promote the importance of breast cancer awareness within our local community.

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as we move into November and the busy upcoming holidays, it remains important for women not to lose sight of making sure they get tested and sign up for mammograms at the Mint Hill Medical Center.

At the event, there were 200 guests who attended the “Pink Carpet” event, taking full advantage of a free opportunity to meet one-on-one with women’s health providers and professionals.

Mammograms were available on a convenient walk-in basis throughout the entire event, OBGYN and urogynecology providers were available for questions and discussions for those who attended the event.

The attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy a massage, go shopping, enjoy festive food and refreshments, manicures were available, as well as gift sets, bra fittings from Certified Dillard’s staff, and a consultation with a Novant Health professional about the Botox product was offered to interested participants.

Finally, the Da Vinci surgical robot was on display with medical center staff available to explain how it works, and its potential patient benefits.
