When asked what she's most looking forward to, local mom of two Erica Larter just can't decide! "The parade! The fireworks! The all you can ride wrist band!" she says. "I'm also excited that it is in the fall this year and hopefully the weather is cooler. We love to go on Friday night and use the all-you-can ride wrist band! I love that it's a big event with a small town-feel."

"I love Mint Hill Madness because it’s a wonderful event for Mint Hill families," says Mayor Brad Simmons. "It always brings families and our community together. My grandkids love the rides and being able to spend the day with Nana and Papaw!" Families with young kids will want to take advantage of "All You Can Ride" night on Thursday: just $20 for a wristband!

"I'm so glad they have moved it back to the fall," says Big Guys Pizza Owner Janet Muller. "I haven’t gone in years, because it was always in the summer! We are planning on going after we close to see the fireworks and get some funnel cakes. I miss bringing the trailer out and having it all decorated with bales of hay and Mums so everyone could take a fall picture in front of it." Pictured are Janet's grandchildren Bailey and Brady Banick. "Look how young they are!" she says. "Both work in the store now."

"I'm looking forward to enjoying 'fair food' with my kids!" says dad of two Joshua Foster. "We're planning on bringing the kids for 'All You Can Ride' Night. My four-year-old was too young to enjoy the rides at the last Mint Hill Madness in 2019, so we're excited to see both kids have fun."

"Fireworks are my favorite!" says local Megan Morgan. "I've been going to Mint Hill Madness since I was a little kid! I love being able to take my daughter now." Pictured is Morgan's daughter at the 2018 Mint Hill Madness Fireworks Show. On October 23, Mint Hill will be treated to one of the largest shows in the Southeast with Madness' "Fireworks Extravaganza," an all-American, patriotic tribute to the USA. Note the earlier start time of 9:00!
