MINT HILL, NC – On Tuesday, May 18, the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce held its Monthly Member Luncheon at Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation.

Attending members were treated to a staff-served buffet lunch provided by Olde Sycamore. Each member in attendance shared information about their organization, including their location and how the Chamber and its members can best support them.
The Chamber welcomed new members Farm Bureau of North Carolina, Black’s Tire & Auto Service, Pottery 51, James Asbury (Giving Tree Realty), and Dawson Modern Dentistry.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Paige McKinney promoted the Chamber’s Ambassador program and the upcoming Coffee Connections event, which only recently resumed after a long hiatus due to COVID. She also encouraged members to make use of the Chamber’s website, which provides a wealth of resources and benefits to its members.
Jennifer Manchester of Suburban Properties of Charlotte spoke about the Chamber’s first fundraiser this year, a Virtual Auction hosted by the Chamber and sponsored by Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center. The auction ran from May 15 through May 23 and featured donations from 37 different businesses and individuals. Proceeds from the auction will support vital Chamber programming as well as Chamber members who continue to struggle due to COVID.
