Wilson Lohrer – The senior is having an extraordinary year offensively for the Patriots. In two games played this past week he went 7 for 8 with 2 doubles, 5 base hits, 1 walk, and had 2 RBI’s. On the season his batting average is an outstanding .636, OBP .714, SLG .939, OPS 1.654, has accumulated 21 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 8 RBI’s, 16 runs scored, and 7 base-on-balls.
Carson Gesing – Pitched another outstanding ballgame in a 13-2 win. He tossed a complete game on 88 pitches over 7 innings. He allowed only 4 hits, no walks, 2 earned runs, while being in the strike zone .761 percentage of the time 88-67. He now has a 4-2 record on the season. He also went 4-8 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI’s to assist offensively.
Brandon Moser – Another senior who is normally a solid third baseman and EH went 3 for 10 in two games played with an RBI, 3 runs scored, and 1 stolen base. He has BA .308, OBP .550, SLG .538, OPS 1.088, with 2 home runs, 7 RBI’s, 13 runs scored while working 11 base-on-balls for the Patriots.
Jake Stanley – The junior went 3-6 with 3 RBI’s, 2 steals, 1 sacrifice fly, including 1 run scored while fielding his position impressively with 94 chances making only 3 errors for a .968 fielding percentage.
P J Chiles – Another junior went 2-7 on the week, however, he had a key double, in the first inning of the 13-2 win he singled in the games first two runs, he picked up 4 RBI’s and had 2 steals in the mix. On the season he has had 43 chances while making only 2 errors for .930 fielding percentage.
