It’s Beginning to Feel a lot like Christmas in Mint Hill

In just a few weeks, the wreaths around town will light up the streets in Mint Hill. Join us at one of the upcoming events as we prepare to ring in the Christmas season.



Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony — November 29th at 7:00 PM Join us at Town Hall for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The Bain Elementary School choir will perform. Hot chocolate and cookies from Daphne’s Bakery will be served. Santa has heard how good the children of Mint Hill have been and has promised to stop by and make note of everyone’s Christmas list. The Mint Hill Police Department will be collecting toys for their Annual Toy Drive benefiting Pat’s Place.

Jingle all the Way – December 1st at 9:00 AM The Mint Hill Police Department’s 3rd Annual Jingle all the Way 5K Walk/Run will take place at the Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park. Runners, walkers, joggers and dogs will be dressed in holiday attire. Put your jingle on, and do something good for your health, while benefiting the Mint Hill Police Department Volunteer and Explorers programs. Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Party – December 1st at 11:00 AM Novant Health and the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce hosts the Annual Senior Citizen Christmas party for Mint Hill residents over the age of 65. Lunch, entertainment and door prizes will be offered. Contact the Chamber office at 704-545-8282 if you are interested in donating a door prize or volunteering for this event.

Mint Hill Police Annual Toy Drive – November 1st – December 1st The MHPD will once again host a toy drive benefiting Pat’s Place. Pat’s Place provides guidance to families and community members dealing with abuse investigations. You can help by donating non-gender specific toys ($10-$20) such as puzzles, games, coloring books, markers, crayons, books, etc. Toys can be dropped off at the Mint Hill Police Department, Mint Hill Town Hall or the Mint Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
