Congratulations to Angie Valle-Guardado, a 2021 graduate from Independence High School. Her dedication to finishing high school despite many challenging classes, being part of the JROTC program, as well as working on cosmetology school all at the same time, will serve her well as she joins the military later this year.

Congratulations to Naima Simpson, a 2021 graduate from Independence High School. During her junior year, she was involved in a very serious car crash that kept her from joining her classmates but she persisted and has graduated with her peers. Naima will attend a four-year university in the fall of 2021.
