MINT HILL –The Town of Mint Hill will host Family Fun Night on August 20th at theMint Hill Veterans Memorial Park, featuring the music of Red Dirt Revival.
Red Dirt Revival is a country music band. They feature music from the classic days of the outlaws to today’s country hits, including some original material. Their music will have the whole family singing and dancing along.
Prior to Red Dirt Revival, Independence High School Jazz Combo will perform from6:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
Wingate University’s P.U.P.P.Y Lab (Performance Understanding & PersonPerception In Youth Lab), a non-profit child development research lab, will have a craft station for children.
The event will include food trucks, inflatables, and family games. The Mint Hill fire department will once again spray water on the lower field just for the fun of it. Come with your swimsuit and play in the water.
The event is free. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and enjoy a variety of entertainment while supporting Mint Hill. Family fun starts at 6:30 pm with the concert starting at 7:00 pm.
