Blessed Assurance Adult Day & Health Care Services, Inc. located at 13001 Idlewild Road, Matthews, NC 28105, and Texas Roadhouse are joining for a delicious fundraiser to benefit the nonprofit organization, providing services to disabled adults and veterans.
Enjoy mouth-watering chicken or pork smothered in finger-liking-good BBQ sauce paired as you wish with juicy-sweet corn, tangy slaw and fluffy roll. An undeniably good feast, all for a good cause.
Nate Huggins, the CEO of Blessed Assurance, explained that this event will add to their efforts to raise money and support local disabled veterans and seniors with much needed social and wellness programs.
“We will conduct a Chicken and Pork Bar-B-Q Sale (onsite pickup and delivery) on Friday September 28, 2018 from 11am to 6pm, at Blessed Assurance Adult Day Care Center. On Saturday September 29, there will be delivery only.
The price is $10, and the options are:
- One pound of Pork Bar-B-Q only.
- One Pork Bar-B-Q Plate (Bar-B-Q, Corn, Slaw, Roll, Chips, Tea).
- One Bar-B-Q Chicken (filet breast) Plate (Chicken, Corn, Slaw, Roll, Chips, Tea).
Please place all delivery orders by September 14, 2018.”

Blessed Assurance Adult Day & Health Care Services is a well know nonprofit organization serving the communities in Charlotte, Matthews, and Mint Hill by providing care for adults and elders, physically and cognitively impaired, socially isolated, people needing assistance with personal care, or those needing assistance to function independently in the community, but not ready for nursing home care.
