Chamber Benefits: Partnering With The Mint Hill Times

MINT HILL, NC – Did you know that new Chamber members receive a one-time $150 ad credit and feature story in the Mint Hill Times?  A $150 ad credit will buy you a one-time ⅛ page color ad, but the credit can be applied to any advertising package you wish to purchase.

This one-time benefit to all new Chamber members is just one part of the special partnership the Chamber of Commerce enjoys with the paper.  The Mint Hill Times is an active member in the Chamber who endeavors to cover all the important news coming out of the Chamber, including Monthly Member Luncheons, Ribbon Cuttings, and fundraisers like the Golf Classic and the Spring Tea and Brunch.

For Chamber members, having an accessible local paper that actively participates Chamber activities and Mint Hill’s events makes a big difference.  “The Mint Hill Times staff are people who live right here in our community,” says Servant’s Heart Founder and Executive Director Kim Rhodarmer.  “They not only interview and write about us, they actually live life with us. Articles are written about business, general concerns and points of interest that are important to our community.”

“We love being the first to get you the news about everything that the Chamber of Commerce and its members are doing!” says Jenifer Shaw (Sales/Public Relations for the Mint Hill Times).  “We try to do everything we can to support Mint Hill’s local small businesses.”

“We are so grateful for our partnership with the Mint Hill Times,” says Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Paige McKinney.  “This is such a wonderful benefit for our new members because it showcases their products and services to our community, and we encourage all new members to take advantage of it.”

The Mint Hill Times is the only newspaper dedicated specifically to the Town of Mint Hill and its residents.  Between printed issues and online views, its articles reach between five and six thousand people a week.  A feature and accompanying ad in the paper can be incredibly beneficial to both new businesses and those attempting to expand their reach in the community.

“We joined the Chamber in November of last year to get more involved in the Mint Hill Community and network with other nonprofits and businesses,” says Brianna Anderson, Membership Vice President of the MOMS Club of Mint Hill.  “The ad and feature in the paper were a great bonus!  As a support group designed for at-home moms, we always want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to reach the moms of Mint Hill.  Any way we can get the word out is helpful.”
