MINT HILL, NC – Did you know the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce has a member-to-member discount program?

It’s called Mint Advantage, and it allows members the opportunity to offer special discounts on products or services to other Mint Hill Chamber members.  It could be a freebie, waving of a joining or annual fee, a certain percentage off goods or services – the possibilities are endless.

It’s obvious how taking advantage of these discounts can benefit chamber members, but is offering something for free really a benefit?

1st Choice Properties Owner Anna Granger thinks it is.  “I have offered various specials over time to other Chamber members from free home warranties to a free move out cleaning, flexible commission rates and even short term home repair loans if needed/desired,” says Granger.  “I appreciate all the business that I have received based on Chamber referrals, and I very much enjoy giving back and paying it forward if the opportunity arises.”

“It’s not just giving ‘discounts’ to members though,” continues Granger.  “It’s about being a resource to members, no matter if they are looking to sell/buy or not. It’s about sharing information and giving real estate-related advice.  Connecting chamber or community members with other chamber members is always a pleasure.”

“I decided to offer the free consultation after speaking with other chamber members,” says Mindy Parman from Thrivent Financial, who is currently offering a free financial consultation to fellow chamber members.  “Others are curious about what I do and how I can help them. As others become familiar with what I do, they can understand how I can help them but also who they can refer to me.”

“The Mint Advantage Program has been helpful for business on many fronts for Mint Hill Dance Center,” says Owner Whitleigh Cook. “Through this program, we have been able to interact with members we know and those we had not met yet to offer our services and to learn about other businesses’ discount offerings as well. We have offered free registration for dancers for the dance year through the program and have seen an increase of enrollment through that discount. We are grateful for the Chamber offering this program for Mint Hill businesses to work together on many levels for products and services.”
