Blessed Assurance Adult Day and Health Care has been providing daily life sustaining programs and Services to Disabled Veterans, Seniors and Special Needs Adults throughout our community for 20 years.
On Valentine’s Day, Sylvia’s Floral Design (www.Sylviasfloraldesign.com), an online Floral Company located in Matthews and owned by Mrs. Ana Young, surprised the disabled veterans, seniors and special needs population by presenting the folks with red, yellow and lavender corsages.
“The youngest program member is 25 and our oldest member being 100, were all “Tickled Pink” with joy. Even our men were provided corsages and they all were blessed with a Valentine’s Day Brunch fit for Queens and Kings, said Nate Huggins, Chief Operating Officer, and Veteran.
Blessed Assurance Adult Day Care is a non-profit organization established locally in 1998. It provides caregivers with a break from full time care giving, supports the family structure and empowers them to retain employment while their loved ones receive excellent care.
Men’s Community Prayer Breakfast
The event will be held at Joy Church located at 11516 Idlewild Rd, Matthews, NC 28105 where Pastor McLean Faw is the Senior Pastor.
The theme is “Come To The Altar” Turning Struggles Into Victory.
