The slightly cooler weather is about to arrive, ushering in the season of crunchy leaves under our feet during longer walks, the aroma of pumpkin spice everything, and children’s constant excitement about dressing up in costumes and staying up late eating candy! With fall festivities comes the October show at Mint Hill Arts, titled “Autumn Art.” This show is open to both Mint Hill Arts members and non-members, and is a non-judged show. All autumn themed artwork of any medium is welcome and encouraged! The Autumn Art show intake takes place on Friday September 27th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Saturday September 28th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Bring your artwork to the Mint Hill Arts Gallery, located at 11205 Lawyers Rd. Please join us for the Autumn Art Show Opening Reception Friday, October 4th from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. All artists, friends, family, neighbors and the like are invited to the free reception to enjoy the seasonal artwork, as well as complimentary wine, soft drinks, appetizers, and of course the company of others. If you are unable to attend the opening reception, you can stop by to see the show during gallery hours from October 5th – October 23rd, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
