Independence Patriots

Baseball:



PJ Chiles – The senior is leading the team with a .393 BA, he has 11 hits, 4, RBI’s, 3 walks, with an OBP .485, SLG. .393, OPS .878 for the Patriots in 12 games this season to date.

Tyler Spicer – The Patriot workhorse keeps chewing up innings for the Pats. His ERA is a respectable 4.519, WHIP 1.557, he has 26 strikeouts and has allowed 17 earned runs.

Michael Short – The youngster has pitched 11 competitive innings while accumulating 13 strikeouts, allowing only 1 walk and 8 earned runs.

Softball:

Elizabeth Garbark – Our runner-up and certainly deserving choice for Player of the Week had a solid performance for the Lady Patriots. She went 2-4 with 3 RBI’s against the Knights, and 2-3 with 2 RBI’s including a double against Providence. On the season she posts a solid .412 BA, 14 hits, 11 RBI’s, 5 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, with an OBP .500, SLG .705, OPS, 1.206.

Terris Adkins – The Patriots shortstop went 1-4 against the Knights, and 2-3 with 2 RBI’s in the Providence game. She is posting solid stats on the season with a .457 BA, 16 hits, 16 RBI’s, 4 2B, 1 3B, along with an OBP .525, SLG .628, OPS 1.154.

Queens Grant Stallions: 

Baseball: 

Alwin Duran – The senior team leader and captain is having a solid season. He posts a .478 BA, 11 huts, 10 runs, 16 RBI’s, 6 doubles, 2 triples. with an OBP .571. SLG% .931, OPS 1.382 for the Stallions.

Softball: 

Abi Sawyers – Among the top players in 1A Conference Softball in the state continues to shine weekly for the Lady Stallions. Her stats are off the charts, a BA .722, 26 hits, 33 RBI’s, 18 runs, 5 SB, 7 2B, 3 triples, 4 HR, OBP .718, SLG% 1.416, OPS 2.135. On the mound she has a 3.82 ERA this season as the teams ace.

Reagan Corwick – The junior who is making her mark this season packs a .625 BA, 20 hits, 11 RBI’s, 3 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, with an OBP .676, SLG% .875, OPS 1.551 is having an outstanding season.

Butler Bulldogs

Softball:

Demya Brown – The senior Lady Bulldog is having an outstanding season. She has .704 BA, 19 hits,18 RBI’s, 2 2B, 2 #B, 3 HR. with an OBP .750, SLG% 1.296, OPS. 2.46 at the 4A level of competition.
