Independence Patriots:

Basketball:



Bryce Brooks – The senior point guard scored 14 points with 3 assists, 2 steals, 2 rebounds with outstanding hustle throughout the contest against West Mecklenburg giving Indy their first win of the season. Also, he contributed 5 points with multiple assists with superior hustle in the loss against West Charlotte.

Dyshawn Taylor – The senior contributed 13 solid points, 2 assists, 4 steals and added 2 rebounds in the win on Tuesday night. He added 6 points hitting on two 3-pointers Friday night.

Ralph Johnson – RJ scored 9 points, and had 8 rebounds along with 3 assists on Tuesday against West Mecklenburg. He added 6 points with multiple rebounds on Friday night.

Amory Brown – The senior contributed 11 points and 5 rebounds against Charlotte Mecklenburg.

Girls Basketball:

Kaylee Carson – The sophomore scored 19 and 27 points in two games this week to lead the Lady Patriots in victory. She is averaging 23.3 points per game this season.

Kamryn Kitchen – The freshman scored 10 and 20 points in two games this week. She recorded her first career double-double scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against West Charlotte. She is averaging 16.0 points per game.

Tamia Burgess – This Lady Patriot tallied 12 and 8 points this week, while hauling down 11 rebounds and accumulating 4 blocks.

Kalia Ingram – Scored 11 points going 5-5 shooting 100% from the floor on Tuesday night.

Chloe Moss – The consistent sophomore added 8 points and 10 points with strong rebounding this week for Indy.

Rocky River Ravens

Basketball:

Jaden Lyles – The junior guard has contributed 13.5 points per game, 5.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1 steal per game during the early going this season.

Henry Price – The 6’5″ junior is averaging 12.0 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1 assist per basketball game this season.

Queens Grant Stallions

Basketball:

Lourell Covington – The senior is averaging 14.0 points per game, 9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.6 steals this season for the Stallions.

Keion Adams – The junior is having a nice season with 12.4 points per game, 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.4 steals and 1 block.

Elijah Rector – The senior is averaging 11.0 points per game, 4.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per game.

Kareem Weaver – The junior is contributing 10.4 points per game, 2.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.6 steals per game for the Stallions.
