Independence Patriots

Football: 



Davion Nelson – The junior running back scored three touchdowns and rushed for 157 yards on 21 carries for the Patriots against Olympic.

Arnold Taylor – The QB passed for 200 yards and one touchdown.

Tyson Clawson – Had multiple tackles and assists along with catching his second touchdown pass of the season from his Tight End position.

Rocky River Ravens

Football:

Korey Hailey – In a tough loss and being under pressure during the entire second half he showed leadership and true grit. He completed 14-17 passes for 129 yards, added 5 rushes for 15 yards, had one passing touchdown of 20 yards, and rushed for a TD.

Brian Grier – The defensive linebacker for the Ravens had a big game against Mallard Creek with a total of 10 tackles showing he can perform at a high level against top competition.

Antjuan Collins – The senior wide receiver caught a huge 20 yard touchdown reception in the first half for the Ravens.

Honorable Mention: Overall, the Ravens first offensive line unit Korion Sharpe, Gabriel Palacios, Alfredo Alvarez, Michael Berry and Kendall Stanley all played well against nationally ranked Mallard Creek, especially in the first half of the football game.
