Independence Patriots

Soccer: 



Noah Cleveland – The junior blasted a shot for the Patriots first goal against the Ravens to tie the score midway through the first half.

Luca Martinez – The freshman scored his first varsity goal on a corner shot into to the net with 2:00 minutes in the first half to tie the game at 2-2 against Rocky River.

Tennis:

Lily Loker – She was selected as the Player Of The Game by her coach against Rocky River with a singles two set win 6-0 and 6-0. She is undefeated in both singles and doubles competition this season.

Rocky River Ravens 

Football:

Jaylan Byrd – The sophomore had a breakout game for the Ravens. He scored a 55 yard TD, gained 76 yards on the ground on 5 carries, and contributed 83 all-purpose yards.

Khalil Archie – The senior QB in playing only the second half completed 11-16 passes for 80 yards. He also picked up 13 yards rushing with his longest a 10 yard scamper.

Aden Anderson – The junior accumulated 99 all-purpose yards. He had 47 rushing, 30 receiving, and 22 yards on kick returns.

Jaylon Stringfellow – The versatile senior rushed for 15 yards, added 7 yards passing, had 2 punts for 90 yards averaging 45 yards, kicked a PAT, and contributed on defense.

Antwione Norris – The WR had 40 receiving yards, he rushed for a TD, gained 6 rushing yards, and had 1 solo tackle on defense.

Elijah Williams – The senior OLB led the team with 7 solo tackles, and added 1 assist for a total of 8 tackles.

Jamarion Anderson – The junior OLB had a solid performance with 8 tackles. He had 6 solo tackles and 2 assists.

Rod Stafford – The sophomore totaled 34 yards in kick returns and contributed 6 solo tackles on defense.

Jaeshon Ervin – The steady and reliable senior CB had 6 solo tackles in the football game for the Ravens.

Queens Grant Stallions

Soccer: 

Anthony Armas – The team Captain and MF leads the Stallions with 21 points. He has 9 goals and 3 assists in 11 games on the season.

Gabe Massey – The junior Striker in 11 games has accumulated 20 points on 9 goals and 2 assists.

Liam Lorenzotti – In 9 games as part of the core three juniors for the Stallions the MF has 18 points on 8 goals with 2 assists.

Note: Independence Football did not play this week. The Patriots will return back to action next Friday night when they take on Providence in a big away conference game.
